| About the J.D. Brown Center The J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship was established in 2006 to promote the process of using individual initiative and creativity to stimulate innovation, identify opportunities, assemble resources, and build ventures that add value to the many facets of a community. Entrepreneurship is an attitude that transcends an individual’s personal and professional life and educational background. The Center enables students, entrepreneurs, and business owners to acquire or further develop basic entrepreneurial skills, access various support programs, and build relationships. The hallmark of the J.D. Brown Center resides in its commitment to provide tangible value for entrepreneurs through a core group of highly focused classes, consulting services in a variety of start-up related areas, mentoring programs, network introductions, and easily accessed information on starting and growing ventures. |
