This Focused Study is available to York College students; students enrolled at other colleges and universities when available; and qualified entrepreneurs or experienced business people who are not currently enrolled at an institution of higher learning. The goal of this unique offering is to provide highly targeted entrepreneurial information to individuals with a common goal of starting their own business and managing high growth ventures. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend courses on an individual basis or as a Focused Study Program.
Our Focused Study Program consists of five courses:
• Introduction to Entrepreneurship
• The Entrepreneurial Marketplace
• Entrepreneurship and Small Business
• Management
• Financing Entrepreneurial Ventures
• Business Plan Writing
This core course offering provides attendees with the basics necessary to start and/or grow business ventures.
